There are a unlimited amount of cool wood products that you can purchase or make and then completely customize with text or graphics. I have found that some of my favorite gifts are things like this tool box that can be purchase from Ikea for about 10 dollars. Once I laser engrave the sides, wrap the handle in leather, and add items inside the box I can really provide a unique gift for someone. I've done many with themes such as contents for a bbq (mason jars with utensils, napkins, and so forth). I've also done beer themed boxes that had a bottle cap opener, beer glasses wrapped with leather and sewn.
